Windows XP SP3 now Available

It’s finally out. Windows XP SP3 is now available for download at Microsoft’s Windows Update site or their Download center. It would seem that the compatibility issues with Microsoft Dynamics RMS have been fixed and the Service Pack is all set for release into the wild.
This major compilation of hotfixes, patches, and updates promises performance improvements and security enhancements so don’t delay in getting this onto your PCs.

Based on this overview, a download through the Windows Update site will be a 70 megabyte affair and the version available from the MS Download Center will be a whopping – well it depends on your internet connection speed – 580 megabytes.
