I’d like to put in a good word about my Web Hosting service www.3ix.org. For an amazing $1 a month (that ain’t a typo) I have access to a great service with top notch 24×7 chat support that hasn’t failed me yet.
Since I bought their Excite hosting package (5GB drive space, 10GB bandwith/month) last January, I’ve chatted with their representatives on questions related to billing and setting up my site and it’s nowhere like chatting with someone who’s just sticking to a script. I mean, they’re really good at delivering the answers to your questions accurately in the soonest possible time. So in terms of customer service, I’m one happy camper.
Now what do you get for $1 a month? It’s a long list so hold on to your hats:

I’m not ashamed to promote this web hosting service as an affiliate because, you tell me, where else can you find a better service? Well I went over there and saw some posts from flustered clients, but that’s 4-5 out of 35000+ users. You can expect a few disappointed customers in whatever business. No surprise there. I will make sure to do backups of my site though like any responsible website owner.

haha, neste, i like the idea that the hosting is cheaaap!!!
but i guess my experience with their customer support is just one of those days where you wake up in a bad mood wherein a rep who’s also in a bad mood is the one who’s chatting with you. I just hope they’ll get some technical support over the phone. But then again, it would be a lot more expense on their end.

I read similar article also named otch Web Hosting Service | Once and Still a Techie Weblog, and it was completely different. Personally, I agree with you more, because this article makes a little bit more sense for me
