Satellite TV or Bust
August 2nd, 2009 | by rey |I have a friend who just moved into her new apartment and is looking into upgrading form her lowly antennae-based TV entertainment experience. She was looking into getting Cable like everyone else but then noticed an ad for Direct TV.
She read up on the fact that Satellite TV has more channels available than cable and that supscriptions can even cost far less. Which is a pretty good argument for going for Direct TV if you ask me. Another thing I was wondering about though is whether Satellite TV can offer better reception. The answer is Satellite TV signal is purely digital unlike some cable providers who still use analog signals to transmit. Digital pretty much eclipses analog when you’re talking about signal quality.
Now the question is which Satellite TV provider to get the service from.
