Planning to buy a new camera? There’s a site that can really help you out in getting the perfect one based on features.
Snapsort has a simple interface where you type the two camera models into a pair of text boxes and press “Go”. It will then list the important differences and similarities between the two cameras and determine the winner and loser of the head-to-head comparison while listing the pros and cons for each snapper and a complete list of specs for each.
Key specifications like whether it records hi-def movies, the number of megapixels, weight, maximum ISO and many others are compared. The site even gives you a list of other cameras that have been compared to the particular models you searched for.
One feature that would have made the site more helpful would have been links to reviews and user feedback. But that’s what Google search is for right? Over-all if you’re just interested in seeing the highlights of a comparison on an ad-free, clean-looking, no-nonsense website, then Snapsort is a good site to check out.
